Social Peek
Yesterday, my team mates at McCann Erickson were busy setting up a screen to display Social Peek in the lobby of our building. Social Peek is a mashup that allows you to “take a real-time look into what the internet is thinking, reading, saying, feeling, and listening to” on Twitter, Technorati, last.fm, Del.icio.us and We Feel Fine.
I would love to be able to have some claim to fame for it, but the truth is I can only take credit for having first planted the seed in the team’s head about having a mash-up on the site. The real birth of Social Peek really took center-stage when the team had a serious brainstorming session and David, as expected of a mad innovative programmer would, had a lightbulb moment. It is currently still in beta mode, but I thought I’d share the joy and congratulate David for having finally built a tangible product that all of us in the digital team and McCann Erickson London can be proud of.
